One Day Disease…
I onced asked a friend of mine to be involved in a primary school elevate group, i asked him because he wanted to be a chaplain. My friend said No.
Trav: Why not?
Joh*: It doesn’t really interest me at this stage
Trav: I thought you wanted to be a chaplain?
Joh: Yes that’s right, one day i will.
Trav: Then why wouldn’t you want to get involved in a program with kids, after all isn’t that what chaplains do?
Joh: I do want to be a chaplain but i don’t want to be one now….
To be honest i think my friend was kidding himself. I don’t believe had any intention of becoming a chaplain. I think he felt better telling himself that one day he would do something great for God while he lived a mediocore existance.
One day disease is common
One day i’ll have enough money to leave this meaningless job….
One day i’ll have time to serve God
One day i’ll follow dreams i’ve been holding onto
One day i’ll make a difference.
One day i’ll stop kidding and start living! The Bible talks about waiting for perfect conditions before getting on with life.
