Hi! My name’s Charlene, and I’m the Western Metro Secondary Schools Coordinator. The Elevate Framework has opened up the imagination of God’s people here in the West! The church is seeing the amazing ways in which young people are and can be transformed by being a benefit and a blessing in a school community. My hope is that more schools can be transformed by the good news of Jesus through his people!
I love living and working in the West! I get the opportunity to work alongside teams through training, and empowering them in the work of ministering to young people. I believe that SU is a place where Christians get the opportunity to take part in local mission and develop skills - which exactly is what happened to me! I have been involved with SU since I was in high school (trying to start an SUIS group!) to becoming an intern and volunteer, and now having to be part of the SU staff team.
