CHAT Sports: Creating Safe Spaces for Genuine Connection

CHAT Camp Wooranna Park was even better second time around - more campers and more opportunities/skill to share respectfully and invitationally!

25 registrations including a family who just turned up on Day 1. Being a day camp, that is just fine. Some were return campers who brought their friends - the best recommendation. We explored the Bible through story-sharing and modelled Jesus teachings in our interactions including on the sport-field.

The testimony of a 14 year old junior leader was powerful, as well as the awesome 'team' small groups, where profound dialogue happens. Laughter and connection over games and food. CHAT was so appreciated by kids and families that there is pressure to run another in September!
